Holy bible detail

Scripture
We believe that "all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16

Yeshua Ha-Mashiach (Jesus Christ)

We believe that "God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.." John 3:16 NASB

We believe "that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered. For with the heart one goes on trusting and thus continues toward righteousness, while with the mouth one keeps on making public acknowledgement and thus continues toward deliverance. For the passage quoted says that everyone who rests his trust on him will not be humiliated. That means that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile — Adonai is the same for everyone, rich toward everyone who calls on him, since everyone who calls on the name of Adonai will be delivered. Romans 10:9-13 CJB

We believe in the following gospel message that Peter preached in Acts 2:

“Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.

David said about him:

“‘I saw the Lord always before me.
    Because he is at my right hand,
    I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
    my body also will rest in hope,
because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
    you will not let your holy one see decay.
You have made known to me the paths of life;
    you will fill me with joy in your presence.’

“Fellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,

“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
    “Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”’

“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah...”

“...Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call...”

“...Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”

(Acts 2:14-40 NASB)

Confession/Repentance

We believe that "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 NASB

The Holy Spirit
The Ecclesia of Yeshua is the body of believers from every tribe, tongue, kindred and race of peoples that have been born again, and is indwelt by YHVH through the Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfill ministry and her Great Commission on earth.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit
There are nine gifts of the Spirit mentioned by Paul in I Corinthians chapter twelve:
Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, Faith, Gifts of Healing, Working of Miracles, Prophecy, Discerning of Spirits, Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues.  These gifts of the Spirit are given for the Body of Yeshua. It is to make the Body complete, and empower it to do the work of Yeshua, giving glory to YHVH.

Marriage & Sexuality
Marriage is YHVH-ordained. “The creator made them male and female, and said, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh” (Matthew 19:4-5). Marriage is to be an exclusive relationship, a lifelong faithful union between a man and a woman. This relationship between a husband and wife should parallel the relationship between Yeshua and the Ecclesia.

We believe that any sexual immorality or perversion of God's design for marriage, sexuality and gender (fornication, adultery, homosexuality, pornography, transgenderism, sexual abuse, etc.) are sinful behaviors that are in disobedience to YHVH. (Matthew 5:28, Matthew 15:18-20, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Corinthians 7:2, Hebrews 13:4)

False/Pagan “gods”
We believe that there is only One True God (YHVH) - The Most High. Scripture is clear that any other “god” that is named among men and worshiped as a deity is a demon (Deuteronomy 32:16-17, Psalm 106:35-38, 1 Corinthians 10:19-21). For our full statement on false/pagan “gods” and the study of mythology see our Statement of Principles and Beliefs.
